Lennie

You see Lennie Irvin, a second year PhD student in the Technical Communication and Rhetoric Program. I am an English teacher at San Antonio College in San Antonio, Texas where I teach in and help coordinate our two computer classrooms.

I am an old Daedalus-ite who now uses MOOs and other online tools for instruction. I mostly teach freshman composition, but I also regularly teach online Developmental English II.

I'm very interested in networked environments for teaching writing, and a recent interest of mine has been the role of reflection in the writing process (...in networked environments). I have a keen interest in the National Writing Project, MOOs, and bass fishing. Feel free to chat with me about any of these topics. I'd love for you to visit my dissertation-blog where I muse about my ongoing work at TTU: http://thespeculum.blogspot.com

I'm also married with two rambunctious boys ages eight and thirteen. (along with two dogs, four birds, six frogs, one cat, one bearded dragon, and mucho fish). Life is full.
